Karens Narcissism Theory.
Horney’s views on narcissism are quite different from other psychoanalytical theorists. She believed the narcissist personality develops from a certain type of environment acting on a certain kind of temperament instead of being inherited.
She believes narcissism is the result of satisfying rather than depriving. A narcissist has low self-esteem because it is not based on genuine accomplishments.
